“Gradee” ("we", "our", or "us") provides the Gradee mobile application (the "App").
Grades, subjects, schedules, notes, and similar content you enter are saved locally on your device’s storage. Unless you back up your device or choose to export/share data, this information is not sent to us.
We use PostHog to collect pseudonymous usage information such as feature usage, basic device info (e.g., platform and app version), and performance events. This helps us fix bugs and prioritize improvements.
We do not sell your personal information. We share pseudonymous analytics data with our service provider PostHog to provide analytics services. These providers process data on our behalf according to their terms and privacy policies.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process usage analytics based on our legitimate interests to improve and secure the App. You can object to this processing by disabling analytics (where available).
The App is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, please use the App only with a parent/guardian. If we learn we collected information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Analytics data may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
On‑device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Pseudonymous analytics events are retained by our provider for as long as needed for the purposes above and as set by their retention controls.
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, or portability. Because we don’t operate user accounts, our ability to identify you may be limited. You can always clear local data and disable analytics in the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add features (for example, subscriptions or cloud sync). We will post changes in the App and update the “Last updated” date above.
